The Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit Adult Education Program provides a variety of adult education opportunities, including basic reading, writing and math skills; GED® Exam preparation, and English as a Second Language (ESL). PA FIREFLY FILM FESTIVAL
The public is invited to this free event. Monday- April 22 at 6:30 pm. Don't miss it!
The PAFF Firefly International Film Festival and Fund Raiser
PAFF is excited to announce the screening of two amazing films right here in Forest County. The 2018 documentary "The Serengeti Rules" and the animated film "My Fireflies" will be shown this coming April 20 & 22. The animated film "My Fireflies" by the United Nations Arts Ambassador, Ibiyinka Alao will be recognized by the students of the Forest Area Schools who had the privilege of working with Ibi last year when he visited the school district and participated at the 2018 PA Firefly Festival. Portions of "The Serengeti Rules" documentary were filmed here in Forest County, and residents and campers will recognize the scenes from Kellettville, Mayburg and Yellow Hammer. The two screening opportunities will be held on Saturday, April 20 at the MACA in Marienville at 6:30 pm and Monday, April 22 at the Sarah Stewart Bovard Memorial Library in Tionesta at 6:30 pm. The film festival is FREE and open to the public, but seats are especially limited at the library. "Ibi" will be in attendance with a Q&A session from the audience between the films. PAFF will have refreshments and merchandise on-sale, and a basket raffle to raise funds for the PAFF organization. You will want to be sure to RSVP on the Facebook Event, and please indicate which location you will attend.

We accept all used book, audiobook and DVD donations, (except textbooks, Reader’s Digest Condensed books, encyclopedia sets, cassette and VHS tapes, and magazines.) Donations may be brought to the library during library hours all year.. Thank you.
